Thoughts for the night...

I have been thinking about how to re-approach my concept of "working cunningly"; "artfully"; "deceitfully"; and the cyclical nature of configuration--dis-figuration--and reconfiguration of space. What comes to mind is artful/cunning nature of the labyrinth itself, or rather the cyclical process one experiences in that pre-formulated, cyclical space.

Here, it is further defined and differentiated from a maze:

Maze refers to a complex branching (multicursal) puzzle with choices of path and direction; while a single-path (unicursal) labyrinth has only a single, non-branching path, which leads to the center. A labyrinth in this sense has an unambiguous route to the center and back and is not designed to be difficult to navigate.

For further clarification:

unambiguous
ˌənamˈbigyo͞oəs
adjective

not open to more than one interpretation.

To begin my re-approach, I will explore the combination of circular forms with hopes that it will lead me to an unambiguous design. So, how can one be cunning and unambiguous at the same time?

Wish me luck!

A great example of the purity and unambiguity in circular form. It leads to the sky. As one looks down into the water, they are looking up at the same time; effect is created by the reflection pool.
